ARCHIVED PRESS RELEASE: COVID-19 Pop-Up Testing Site Available in Painesville on December 21, 2020

PLEASE NOTE, THIS ARCHIVED PRESS RELEASE WAS FOR A TESTING EVENT HELD IN DECEMBER 2020. 

A COVID-19 pop-up testing site will take place Monday, December 21, 2020 between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at Maple Elementary School, 560 West Jackson Street in Painesville.  Testing will occur inside the school building.  Anyone can receive a no-cost test during this time, and a health care provider’s referral is not needed.  Quantities may be limited. Participants are encouraged to pre-register using the link below, although pre-registration is not required.

This testing event is a collaboration between Union Community Church, Painesville City Schools, Ohio Department of Health, Ohio National Guard, and Lake County General Health District.  Environmental Health Supervisor Chris Loxterman stated, “We are excited about this collaboration with our community partners and look forward to holding more testing events in the future. We thank everyone that has worked so hard to make this event happen in such a short period of time.”
