The Lake County General Health District, United Way of Lake County, and the Lake Health District Fund have teamed up to establish the Northeast Ohio Drug Repository to help Ohio residents receive prescription medications at low or no cost. Following Ohio laws, the Repository receives unused medications that would normally be thrown away. The Repository allows Lake County residents to obtain medications from the Drug Assistance Program through Lake County General Health District.
The cost of all brand name medication in the Drug Assistance Program is $19.00 for a 30-day supply of available brand name medications or $4.00 for a 90-day supply of available generic medications. This program has been made possible by the generous funding and support of the Lake County Board of Health, the United Way of Lake County, and the Lake Health District Fund.
