Agency Classification Title: PHS I or PHS II (commensurate with experience)
Minimum Rate of Pay: $17.79 PER HOUR (PHS I)
$20.55 PER HOUR (PHS II)
Minimum Qualifications
- College graduate; Environmental Health or Biology degree preferred
- Registered sanitarian or necessary qualifications to become a registered sanitarian in training. (see http://sanitarian.ohio.gov/pdfs/SANLaws.pdf)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to give and follow detailed instructions
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time in various environmental conditions
- Detail oriented
- Good organizational skills required
