The Northeast Ohio Drug Repository
The Lake County General Health District, United Way of Lake County, and the Lake Health District Fund have teamed up to establish the Northeast Ohio Drug Repository to help Ohio residents receive prescription medications at low or no cost. Following Ohio laws, the Repository receives unused medications that would normally be thrown away.
The cost of all generic medication in the Repository is $10.00 for a 90-day supply or $4.00 for a 30-day supply. The cost of all brand name medication is $19.00 for a 30-day day supply. The cost is to cover shipping and handling only.
This program has been made possible by the generous funding and support of the Lake County Board of Health, the United Way of Lake County, and the Lake Health District Fund. Currently, there are large numbers of medications available and ready to be given to those in need. To find out if you qualify for the program or for financial help in purchasing medication from the Repository, please call the Lake County General Health District at 440-350-2056.
